Israel Concha

Israel Concha is the Founder and Executive Director of New Comienzos, a binational nonprofit with headquarters in Las Vegas, NV and Mexico City.

For over a decade, he has led innovative programs that support migrants, deportees, returnees, and binational families, helping thousands navigate the challenges of migration, reintegration, and community rebuilding.

Drawing from his own lived experience as a former undocumented migrant, Israel has built New Comienzos into a recognized leader in cross-border solutions — from the Dream In Mexico Welcome Box to New Comienzos Basecamp, Little L.A., and a wide range of civic, emotional, legal, and educational support services.

He has been featured in over 200 international news outlets, invited to give talks at prestigious universities, and has contributed to dozens of academic studies on migration and reintegration. Through these platforms — and through the direct work of New Comienzos NGO — Israel has helped thousands of individuals find bigger and better opportunities in their true home country, Mexico.

As an advocate, mentor, and entrepreneur, Israel is committed to showing that “there is life after deportation” and that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope.
